About us
Founded in 2013, the Centre on the Dynamics of Ethnicity (CoDE) is the UK’s largest research centre working on racism, anti-racism, and racial, ethnic and religious inequalities.
We work to:
- Produce rigorous and innovative research on racism, anti-racism and racial, ethnic and religious inequalities.
- Develop the capacity of the UK research community work in our areas of expertise.
- Work with public sector, voluntary and other organisations to address racism and reduce or mitigate racial, ethnic and religious inequalities.
- Enhance public understandings of the complexities of racism, the nature of racial, ethnic and religious inequalities and how these intersect with other forms of disadvantage and oppression.
Please contact Bridget Byrne or Dharmi Kapadia, our directors, with enquiries about our work.
